Catalyst™ is an interactive platform where team members can expand the typical day-long training event into an ongoing development process—that works. The result is a more engaged, collaborative workforce that has an immediate and lasting impact on your organization’s performance and culture.

It all starts with DiSC® assessments which measure an individual’s preferences and tendencies based on the DiSC® model.

1. The Assessment

Each member of your team begins the Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ experience with an assessment that includes the DiSC basic questions, along with Workplace, Agile EQ, Management, and Productive Conflict application questions. Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ offers a proven, scientifically validated assessment with a 90%+ accuracy rating from learners worldwide. Learners respond to behavioral statements on a five-point scale to measure their preferences and tendencies based on the DiSC model—a simple, yet powerful model that describes four basic behavioral styles: D (Dominance), i (influence), S (Steadiness), and C (Conscientiousness).

2. The Catalyst™ Platform

Catalyst™ is a personalized learning platform that acts as each learners’ home base throughout their DiSC® journey. Designed to support instructor-led facilitation, individual and even team exploration, Catalyst™ integrates DiSC® into the flow of work, ensuring takeaways are readily applied.

On Catalyst™ – learners can deepen their understanding of their own style, compare and contrast styles with a colleague or build a group (or team). Using insights in Catalyst™, team members can learn to connect, collaborate, address tension and engage each other 1:1, manager to team member, or as a full team.

3. The Workshops

Kate is certified to provide a series of workshops utilizing DiSC® tools and the Catalyst™ online platform. These workshops can be delivered either in-person or online – and are easy modules to bring to offsites or work retreats as skill-building sessions.

Available on Catalyst™:
  • DiSCovering DiSC®- This entry-level ½ day workshop introduces participants to their own style, the DiSC® framework and the Catalyst™ platform. Through interactive sessions – like skits, panels, group discussion and movement around the room, participants will learn how to build better work relationships across styles and across teams.
  • Everything DiSC® Management- This full-day workshop supports managers by helping them apply their DiSC insights to the supervision process. Managers learn to consider their own style and the style of their direct reports when offering direction, delegation, motivation and developing talent.
  • Agile EQ- Once participants have mastered DiSC, Agile EQ expands their knowledge to their unique emotional intelligence strengths and the core needs that drive them. From here they learn to expand beyond their comfort zones to respond to complex social and emotional situations in the workplace. 
Available but not on Catalyst™:
  • Productive Conflict- Everything DiSC Productive Conflict® helps participants improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, this workshop provides participants with techniques to curb destructive behaviors and effectively respond to conflict situations. The program features an exploration of DiSC® in a conflict context, provides an opportunity for participants to explore their destructive conflict responses, and offers them a method for making more productive choices in their response to conflict.
  • Everything DiSC® Work of Leaders- Everything DiSC Work of Leaders® lays out a clear path for helping leaders at all levels make the connection between their DiSC® style and leadership. Bringing together best practices from 300 experts in over 150 organizations, the important work of the most prominent scholars, and over four years of additional research and development, this all-inclusive classroom and online program approaches leadership as a one-to-many relationship (as opposed to the one-to-one relationship explored in Everything DiSC Management). With one unified model of leadership—vision, alignment, and execution—it focuses on helping leaders understand their own leadership styles and how their tendencies influence their effectiveness in specific leadership situations.
  • Everything DiSC® Sales- Everything DiSC® Sales puts the power of the dynamic Everything DiSC model into the hands of salespeople and provides a dynamic tool for creating customer-centric interactions that deliver improved results. Sales-specific content helps participants discover new strategies for stretching beyond their natural preferences to make the selling process more productive and successful—regardless of the customer’s unique buying style.
